The making of Talking Heads 77 was a real trip for me. I hadn't spent much time in a recording studio before and I was really excited about playing something that would be recorded by a professional producer and engineer that would hopefully stand the test of time. I had a great deal of confidence in my bandmembers, Tina, David and Jerry, and I was ready to rock. I wasn't really sure what the whole recording procedure was, but I was eager to learn. I felt as though I had been preparing for this time for most of my life...I always felt that Talking Heads was somehow different from other bands. Thanks to all of you who bought the record and supported the band. Also, because I hate people when they're not polite, thanks to Gary Kurfirst, Seymour Stein, Hilly Kristal, Frank Barsalona, Ken Kushnick, Ed Stasium, Frank Gallagher, Stu Weintraub and Ian Flooks for all the hard work they did for Talking Heads.
