my first sighting of talking heads was at cbgb's late '76
i thought what a strange looking group
the music was much different than anything that i had heard at that time
they had this cute little bass player who looked like some 13 yr old
little boy
and was totally mesmerizing
the lead singer was this gawky guy who stood in one spot and
perspired
i would venture to say that he perspired more singing one song than
mick jagger perspired during a whole set
the rest is history
the most original band ever
it broke my heart when they called it quits
